Radio magic in the 21st Century

When I was a young man, not THAT long ago, there was no internet, no cell phones all that, High tech was transistors, and integrated circuits, computers were as big or bigger than the average person's house and only large corporations and well funded universities could actyall own one, the average person's version of high tech was HAM RADIO.

Hams have been leading the way in technology for a very long time, yet, today, are considered ancient.

For me, and thousands of others, even after the computer revolution, and the information superhighway, there is still something magic about transmitting and receiving information with just home built equipment, and ingenuity.

This is where I am planning to go with this, so, please stay tuned, and follow along with some of the projects, and information that I will be sharing here. Hopefully I can get this to the point that we can have a public forum, and be able to trade ideas, tips, and techniques.
